Let’s take out what’s

personal about the pronoun

I

Remove from our brains

the notion of success since

it’s nothing more than

someone’s egotistic

endeavours.

 

Need not the

personalised

happiness in individualistic

projects and self-assertion

 

The cross bleeds with

guilt and the Truth

shall not make us free

’cause there’s no more than

the heavy Book that

has never been opened

and lies carelessly on

the shelf.

 

People escape from churches

as if they’ve seen the

devil himself leading

mass.

 

If it’s not all of us

it’s no one.

 

There is no such thing

as

the elite of those who are saved.

 

Is there anything to save?
